1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage, IndexedDB, and mobile SDK identifiers that work in a comparable way within apps.
This policy is issued by Evgeny Aseev, trading as TinyPlates, and covers the TinyPlates website (tinyplates.co.uk), web application (tinyplates.app), and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
This policy complies with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
2. How we use cookies and similar technologies
TinyPlates uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in to your account
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Understand how you use our service so we can improve it

We obtain your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device, in accordance with PECR. Essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function do not require consent.

Cookie consent banner
When you first visit TinyPlates, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising). You can change your preferences at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
Browser settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these in the “Privacy” or “Security” section of your browser preferences. Common options include:
- Blocking all cookies
- Blocking third-party cookies only
- Deleting cookies when you close the browser
- Browsing in “private” or “incognito” mode
Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent TinyPlates from functioning correctly.

You can control analytics tracking in the TinyPlates mobile app via Settings → Privacy. Push notifications can be managed in your device’s notification settings.
Opt out of Meta tracking
You can manage how Meta uses your data for advertising via Meta’s Ad Preferences, or by declining advertising cookies in our consent banner.

We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable regulations. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. If we add new categories of cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and reset the cookie consent banner so you can make a new choice.
